Storm Drain - Best Management Practice (BMP)
Hawaii’s beaches, ocean and reefs are a precious resource that need to be protected. We partner with our clients and local government agencies to ensure that dangerous debris and pollutants do not find their way down our storm drains and into Oahu’s waterways. The City & County of Honolulu and the State of Hawaii have a team of investigators looking into violations of clean water legislation and we are proud to be on a list of preferred vendors to resolve problems.
We partner with our clients to eliminate current issues and potential problems. We use specialized equipment to remove debris and pollutants from storm drains of various types. To mitigate future problems, we can recommend the installation of debris and pollutant filters and barriers. Whether you have roadway or landscape storm drains, we can manage your property.
We can also develop an Operations and Maintenance (O & M) Plan for you to include periodic follow-up inspections and regular communication with government officials. All of our service visits are documented with photographs to create transparency between ourselves, government agencies and our clients.
